A First Attempt on Konami’s New More Coins and Dragon Treasure Pearls slot machines. With More Coins, at first, I thought it was a re-skin of The Great Wilds, but that game is Overflowing Coins. In this game, 3 scattered bonus symbols trigger free games. During the free games, coins that land stick. The total of the free spins bonus is then assigned to each coin and you win the total of the coins. Therefore, the number of coins collected is essentially a multiplier for the bonus win. Sort of like Aristocrat’s classic Dream Time slot. I managed a quick double-up on this game, but didn’t realize how it worked at the time. I would like to try it again. Dragon Treasure Pearls is a re-skin of Cobra Hearts and Ring Tailed Wilds. Wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4 can each multiply 2x, 3x or 5x. At least 3 scattered bonus symbols trigger free games. During free games, 2 symbols re-trigger. The feature in the bonus is that if a wild lands above the reels, it drops down. If a wild lands below the reels, it moves up. It’s possible for a reel to have two multiplying wilds. It’s not clear what the maximum possible multiplier is. There is potential in the game, but I haven’t really seen it fully. I have never seen anyone get 5x-5x-5x nor a handpay on this. I think maybe that the multipliers in the normal spins took away potential in the bonus. Taken at San Manuel casino in Highland, CA.
